BARQ'nun misyonu, teknoloji transferi faaliyetleriyle savunma elektronik sistem üretiminin yerlileştirilmesini teşvik ederek Katar'ın savunma sanayisini ve teknolojilerini yerli ürünler/sistemler ile zenginleştirmek için araştırma ve geliştirme faaliyetleri gerçekleştirmektir.
